Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assistance and dedication to improving South African Social Security Company (SASSA) companies through an engagement with all the agency's senior managers in a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled while in the 2024 matric examinations.
From the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% with the registered pupils inside the training sector.
These learners achieved a commendable pass rate of 86%.
